Once approved, the owners will issue a rental contract which will detail the below terms & conditions:
Acceptance of Terms & Conditions: Submission of a reservation and/or payment of a deposit shall constitute acceptance in full of all Terms & Conditions by the Lead Guest (the person making the booking and entering into a contract with the homeowner) jointly and severally on behalf of all guests included in the reservation.
The homeowner will not be liable for any act, neglect or default on the part of any person nor any accident, damage, loss, injury, expense or inconvenience whether to person or property which the guest or any other person may suffer or incur arising out of or in any way connected with the letting or resulting from any other cause whatsoever.
We advise you to arrange your own insurance to cover yourselves and your personal belongings whilst staying at the accommodation.
Payment terms
A 25% rental deposit is payable immediately to secure the booking
The remainder of the full amount is due 60 days before arrival (check-in date)
If the booking is made within 60 days of the first day of the letting (arrival date) the whole of the rental payment and the cost of any extra products or services (‘extras’) ordered is payable upon booking.
A €300.00 key deposit is collected on arrival and will be returned to you on your departure from the accommodation subject to return of the key and absence of any wilful damage or smoke damage.
Please note this key deposit is intended to deter wilful damage or smoking within accommodation, rectification of which must be paid for by the Lead Guest.
Cancellation policy
If a cancellation is requested more than 60 days in advance of the letting (arrival date) the balance of any monies paid, less the rental deposit, will be returned to the Lead Guest.
If the cancellation is requested within the 60 days prior to the letting (arrival date) the homeowner will retain the rental deposit and also reserves the right to retain all or part of the balance of the rental (should it not be possible to re-let the accommodation for this period at the same price).
General booking conditions
The number of people occupying the property may not exceed the number on the booking form.
The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
The Lead Guest jointly and severally with all guests occupying the accommodation agrees to keep the property and all fittings, furniture, equipment and other contents in or on the property in a like state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the letting and will make good (or will arrange with the homeowner to make good) any damage, breakage, or loss that may occur during the period of letting. Should any damage occur, it will be the responsibility of the Lead Guest to inform the homeowner without undue delay.
Unless otherwise stated, the rental of the accommodation includes, rates, taxes, insurance of the property and electricity. The property is equipped with crockery, cutlery, sheets, blankets and adequate cleaning equipment, linen and bathroom towels (not to be used as beach towels).
Holiday lettings are by the week (unless by prior arrangement) from 16.00h on the date of arrival to 10.00h on the date of departure. The time lapse is to enable the property to be inspected in between lets to ensure everything is in good order. Where possible we will allow late check-out or early arrival, but this will be dependent on the previous and subsequent booking and can only be advised nearer the time of arrival/departure.
Guests agree not to smoke, nor to allow smoking, inside the property at any time. If this is not strictly adhered to it will lead to a deduction from the key deposit for additional cleaning and restitution.
Pets are not allowed at the property
Guests are asked to leave the property clean and tidy and to ensure that they take all their belongings with them. On changeover days there is only time for a superficial check and a general clean. We rely upon the goodwill of our guests whose co-operation we greatly appreciate. Should the accommodation be left in a poor condition, requiring more intensive cleaning this will be charged at €20.00 per hour and shall be deducted from the key deposit.
Any penalties which exceed the €300.00 key deposit which remain unpaid upon departure shall be payable by the Lead Guest and shall be invoiced to the home address.
